TBS-5927 SE is a professional digital satellite TV tuner with USB 2.0 connectivity for PC systems. As the successor to the TBS-5927, it supports DVB-S2X, DVB-S2 and DVB-S, together with a wide range of professional satellite reception and data transmission modes.
In addition to QPSK and 8PSK, the TBS-5927SE supports 16APSK, 32APSK and 64APSK. Advanced features including ACM, CCM, VCM, Multi-Input Stream (MIS), Generic Stream (GS) make the tuner suitable for professional satellite data reception, monitoring, EUMETCast and IPTV applications.
The integrated hardware blind-scan function enables fast automatic scanning of satellite transponders across symbol rates and carrier frequencies. This makes the TBS-5927 SE suitable for discovering and receiving satellite signals that are not already configured in a conventional channel list.
A tristate MPEG-TS output interface provides flexible transport-stream output for further processing. With dedicated TBS software tools, supported broadcast streams can be captured, recorded and analyzed.
The tuner also provides monitoring functions for lock status, signal quality and BER/PER, allowing users to monitor satellite reception performance in real time.
